Shia lawyer critical injured in a targeted attack by takfiri terrorists in Karachi

Takfiri terrorists injured a Shia lawyer on Jehangir Road near Teen Hatti traffic intersection on Friday.
Mirza Waqar Hussain boarding a car was on way to the Court when takfiri terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi/Sipah-e-Sahaba opened volleys of shots to target him. He and another person fell injured due to firing.

They were rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment where doctors operated upon Mirza Waqar Hussain.

The brutal attack in broad daylight sent a shockwave to Shiites and lawyer fraternity alike. Mehmood ul Hussan, President, Karachi Bar Association, has announced strike of lawyers fraternity on Saturday. He condemned the attack and said that lawyers would boycott proceedings of the Courts on Saturday as a token of protest.

Shia leaders and parties have also condemned the targeted attack on yet another Shia professional. Many Shia lawyers, doctors and educationists have so far been murdered in targeted attacks by the allies of banned Taliban and al-Qaeda in all over Pakistan.
