Haidari vows to reject controversial Sahaba Bill in “Ulema o Zakireen Conferecne”

Shiite News: Allama Muhammad Afzal Haidari, Secretary General Shia Wifaq ul Madaris, has said that on the appeal of senior scholars Allama Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi, Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi and Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, on August 16 in Islamabad, scholars and Zakireen will gather nationwide.

By rejecting the controversial criminal amendment bill in the conference, we will send a message to the state that we does not accept any legislation against the Quran and Sunnah.

This bill is not only against civil religious freedoms of Shias and Sunnis, constitution and basic human rights. We reject it. No legislation can be made without taking the nation of Jafaria into confidence.

He said that in the name of Ahl al-Bayt and Sahaba we will not allow any riots and terrorist ideology of Hindtawah to flourish in Pakistan.

We are the peaceful citizens of this country and have the power to stop any serious move to play with the security of Pakistan.

Shias have always got their rights for peaceful struggle. We are not oppressed by anyone. Heads can be cut off, heads cannot be bent.

We cannot compromise on our religious rights, civil liberties, love for Ahl al-Bayt, nor can we consider the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt as sacred.
