Kazim Maysam elected Leader of Opposition in Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan parliamentary leader in Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly,
Muhammad Kazim Kazim Maisam was elected as the leader of the opposition on behalf of the united opposition.

Apart from this, former Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development and Central Political Secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Department of Women, Kaniz Fatima Ali has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Standing Committee for Planning, Development and Information Technology Department, while Member GB Assembly of MWM, former Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government and President of MWM Khurmang Allama Sheikh Akbar Ali Rajai has been appointed as the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Municipalities.

MWM leader and opposition leader Kazim Maysam said in his statement that I am deeply grateful to all the opposition members, especially the Raja Azam Khan, Nawaz Khan Naji, Ms. Kulsoom Farman, Honorable Raja Zakaria Khan, Wazir Muhammad Saleem, Ayub Waziri, Leader of the Islamic Movement, Honorable Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Honorable Sheikh Akbar Rajai, Honorable Javed Manwa, Ms. Dr. Kiniz Fatima, for trusting me and electing the leader of the opposition.

He added that thanks to the provincial and central leaders, voters, supporters who supported and encouraged me at every stage.

InshaAllah, MWM will continue political struggle for the rights of Gilgit-Baltistan on public issues. Due to Muharram no congratulatory message should be offered in respect of this holy and mournful month.
