Muslim countries should protest against desecration of Holy Quran in Sweden, Sheikh Noori

Shiite News: Member GB Council and Political Secretary Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Gilgit-Baltistan Sheikh Ahmad Ali Noori said in a statement that he strongly condemns the tragic incident of burning the copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden.

He said that all Muslims should take a united stand against such incidents and make such legislation at the global level to prevent such incidents and make the people involved in them accountable.

Under the guise of freedom of expression, a heinous act was committed by burning the Holy Quran, which is not acceptable in any way.

Muslim rulers should demand UN to take strict action against Sweden for allowing this heinous act on the part of the Swedish government.

He further said that the West should know that insulting the sanctities of other religions is never called freedom of expression, but narrow-mindedness and malice.
