Imam Khomeini proved Islam is a viable religion in modern times, Allama Ameen Shaheedi

Shiite News: Allama Ameen Shaheedi, the head of Ummat-e-Wahida, has said that Imam Khomeini proved with the revolutionary movement that Islam is a viable religion even in modern times.

Addressing a seminar organized on the occasion of Imam Khomeini’s thirty-fourth anniversary under the auspices of Iranian Cultural Consulate in Islamabad, he said that Imam Khomeini defeated colonialism with his movement.

He said that thirty-four years ago, the Iranian people buried a great, courageous, fearless, leader of unity, a political, religious and scholar, a great Marjay Taqlid and the founder of the Islamic Revolution.

He said that Imam Khomeini is a unique figure in the history of the world who created a great revolution in the Islamic world, especially for public rights.

Due to his valuable services, he left an impressive image in the world of Islam, that is why it is important for us to commemorate this occasion.

Allama Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi said in his address that Imam Khomeini’s revolution sends a message to the Muslim nation that if Muslims change themselves, the whole world can be changed.

He said that the Iranian revolution is a proof that the only way to defeat anti-Islamic elements is through unity and under the guidance of a single leader.

Iran’s Deputy Ambassador to Pakistan Nabi Shirazi, Cultural Consul Ehsan Khazai, Qari Buzurg Shah Al-Azhari, Allama Anees ul Hussain and others also addressed the seminar.

Cultural Consul Ehsan Khazai thanked the participants in his speech. He said that Imam Khomeini is a unique figure in the history of the world who created a great revolution in the Islamic world, especially for public rights.

The program was organized in Imam Sadiq Mosque Islamabad under the auspices of Raizni Farhangi Jamhoori Islami Iran Islamabad. Renowned poet Syed Tanveer Haider recited a poem about Imam Khomeini.
