MWM KP demanded judicial commission to investigate Triennial tragedy

Shia News: Allama Jahanzeb Ali Jafari, President Majlis Wahdat Muslimin Khyber Pakhtawa, along with other leaders, while talking to media representatives at Peshawar Press Club, said that an unpleasant incident took place on May 4, 2023, 20 km from Parachinar, the capital of Karam district.

First, a driver belonging to the Kharuti tribe called Sharif was fired upon, in which he was seriously injured and could not recover, and was martyred.

A few minutes later, some miscreants started propaganda that our teacher was killed in the Shia area. Within about 30 minutes, people gathered at Trimengal School and started looking for the Shia teachers. At the same time, the teachers contacted their close relatives, the nearest check post located a few meters away, and their department, that we have been besieged and our lives are in serious danger.

But there were high-ranking officers at the check post, even though the officers came to know about this situation, they did not take any notice and did not take any safety measures, even though the government officials, policemen, army men and teachers could save the teachers. But their inattention, allowed miscreants to commit crime.

First, these teachers were subjected to physical violence one by one and then they were caught and gathered in the staff room and they were all brutally martyred by shooting in front of each other and the bodies were humiliated.

They continued to make insulting videos. At about 2:30 PM, when the news of the martyrdom reached the city of Parachinar, the administration at the national level started contacting the army to bring the dead bodies, but it is sad to say that the police and the army were also fired upon, when they went to pick up the funeral.

He said that the national leaders and elders, including Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Mayor Agha Muzamil Hussain Faseeh, tried as much as possible to control the emotions of the youth so that no other tragedy would occur even though construction, hoteling and other activities were taking place in every area of Parachinar.

The works are in full swing with most of the workers belonging to other schools of thought, but their problem was only with the Mengals, a tribe of Parachinar, so no one harmed them.

The murderers also refused to give the bodies. They also fired at the police and army soldiers. When the officers of 1122 went to pick up the funerals after more than 3 hours, the funerals were attacked with axes and knives and their throats and other organs were cut.

Syed Mehdi Hasan who was MPhil teacher, his eyes were gouged out, the body of a teacher was set on fire. The corpses were unspeakably desecrated.

He further said that a brief background of this whole incident has been placed in front of you, from which you can imagine about the indifference of the government and the Trimangal tribe.

It is now the responsibility of the government to fulfill these legitimate demands.

1. Who were the elements who gathered the terrorists by pretending to be a teacher of the Mangal tribe and killed their guest teachers?

Therefore, a judicial commission should be formed regarding this whole incident and the facts should be brought out in a transparent and pressure-free investigation.

2. These teachers were strictly called by Principal Syed Muhammad on that day and the leave was also delayed.

3. When the teachers were taken under siege, there were contacts from all sides. Why did the policemen and other watchmen on school duty not fulfill their responsibilities in time, so all of them should be arrested and investigated.

4. There is a check post a few meters away, the army is allowed to exercise DC powers wherever it realizes the sensitivity of the situation. After all, why did they not rescue the teachers, the role of the police station was also suspicious, so all the officers should be suspended and a wide inquiry should be conducted and the facts should be brought to light.

5. The killers have not been arrested yet and an FIR has also been registered against the unknown, the principal on duty, teachers, class four employees, police personnel and students including the students have been investigated and an FIR has been filed against the known terrorists. It should be entered in the claim of the heirs.

6. Teachers of Para Chinar who are performing duties in other areas should be provide fool proof measures of security.

7. The DEO of Education department should be investigated and suspended immediately against the negligence and disobedience.

8. After the tragedy on May 4, Tal-Parachinar Road has been closed for all kinds of traffic till today. Malnutrition in Parachinar has become a Gaza-like environment.

Every day thousands of people from Parachinar, including patients, job holders at different places or people belonging to other classes who used to travel, were getting stuck.

Travel from here to Parachinar and Parachinar to Peshawar has almost stopped. We also demand the government to open Tal Parachinar Road for all types of traffic. As before, the road should be made safe by making a check post every kilometer.
