Fitra is Rs 450 this year, Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi

Shiite News: According to renowned religious scholar and central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi, the amount of Fitra for the followers of Fiqh Jafaria this year is 450 rupees.

This amount is 800 rupees for rice. This fitrah is according to the current price of flour and rice, if the prices change before Eid, fitrah should be paid accordingly.

He further said that Fitrah is obligatory and its payment is specially emphasized in Shariat. While it can be given to your loved ones and relatives, who are poor and deserving.

It is better that the Fitra should be paid before the Eid, so that the poor, needy people can benefit from it and these people can also join in the joy of the Eid.
