5 Takfiri terrorists of banned outfits arrested from different cities of Punjab

Shiite News: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 5 terrorists of banned organizations during various operations in Punjab.

According to the officials, in a successful operation, 5 terrorists of TTP and SSK have been arrested from 3 districts of the Punjab province including Lahore.

It has been reported that the terrorists were arrested during a secret operation from Lahore, Bahawalpur and Sheikhupura.

The terrorist arrested in Lahore was identified as Mehmood Musa, who belongs to TTP and is a key operative of the organization. Other arrested terrorists include Abdul Hanan, Rahmat Ali, Muawiya and Muhammad Arabi.

Four cases have been registered against the accused and they have been shifted to an unknown location for investigation.

According to CTD officials, the terrorists had planned a large-scale terror attack in Punjab. Apart from this, on the direction of IG Punjab, CTD conducted 458 combing operations this week, in which 97 suspects were arrested and 52 cases have been registered against them.

Arrested persons will be taken to task according to law.
