Controversial Sahaba Bill 2021 reflects biased thinking, Anjuman Imamia Baltistan

Shiite News: In a statement issued by Anjuman Imamia Baltistan, it has been said that Millat-e-Jaffaria completely reject the amendment bill passed by the National Assembly in 298 A through the Criminal Amendment Bill 2021.

“Pegham-e-Pakistan” has been signed by scholars of all schools. Therefore, there will be no need to amend any bill if the state implement “Pegham-e-Pakistan”.

Amending a bill in this way without consulting the scholars of all schools of thought present in the Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) reflects unilateral and partisan thinking.

Our clear stand on the controversial bill passed in the National Assembly is that this bill will prove extremely dangerous to the internal security of the country and any such legislation may cause unrest, riots and division in the society.

Passing this bill by the Assembly is a sad and irresponsible act. We demand to reject this bill altogether and to end the anxiety that exists in the Shia community in Pakistan.
