CTD arrests 3 terrorists from Lahore, Multan

Shiite News: Counter-terrorism operations are ongoing on by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). According to the spokesperson of CTD, during the combing operation, CTD has arrested 13 suspects and recovered weapons from their possession.

The spokesman further said that CTD has also detained a suspicious person from the border area of Lahore while 2 terrorists of banned TTP network have been arrested from Multan.

The arrested terrorists include Ehsan and Osama. Explosive materials, arms and grenades have been recovered from the terrorists.

According to the CTD officials, the suspects are being interrogated about the recent incidents of terrorism, biometric verification of 628 people was done during the operations, 1 thousand 906 suspects were interrogated in the combing operations, against the arrested people.

As many as 9 cases have been registered and further investigation is underway. The spokesman says that combing operations will continue to combat terrorism.
