Shiite News: The head of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his message on the beginning of the new year, says that the past year, couldn’t give anything apart from hopelessness, insecurity, unemployment, poverty, backwardness and mental torture, to the inhabitants of the land of Pakistan.

The helpless people who have become a picture of sadness and grief seem to be asking when poverty, inflation, unemployment, electricity and gas load-shedding, unrest, killings, sedition will finally be removed from the holy land.

And they also questioned that when the torment of corruption will end, the people surrounded by innumerable problems will get freedom from the painful life spent below the poverty line.

And when will the sun rise to herald the development and prosperity of the country? And when will justice be available with provision of equal and equal rights to the people?

Allama Sajid Naqvi further said that it is a world tradition that when the new year begins, rulers, heads of political parties, heads of all social and human rights organizations, and people from various walks of life would issue pledge renewal statements.

They say that they will learn from the mistakes and mistakes of the previous year and be careful in the coming year, but when the year ends, the situation is worse than before.

Country has been hit by several crises last year as well, but despite this, concrete and serious steps have not been taken by those responsible.

He said that the dignity and status of the Muslim Ummah has been damaged in the last year as well and the measures to restore the greatness of the Muslim Ummah have not been fulfilled.

In order to remedy the mistakes of the past, the new year should be started by adopting the attitude of self-accountability and committing to follow the constitution and law.
