Al-Sadr: The World Cup in Qatar may be a cup for the unity of the Arab and Islamic ranks

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed today, Sunday, that the first fruits of the 2022 World Cup is the return of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar. Al-Sadr said in a tweet.

He added, “May it be a championship for the unity of the Arab and Islamic ranks and the spread of peace, especially in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and the rest of the Arab countries. It will be a clear proof to the world that Arabs and Muslims are capable of managing and organizing the cup and are able to spread peace and unity among Arabs, Muslims and internationally”.
