Johar Town Lahore blast case hearing, 5 witnesses statements recorded

Shiite News: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) heard the case against 3 suspects involved in the Johar Town blast, five prosecution witnesses who were injured in the blast appeared and recorded their testimony.

Anti-Terrorism Court Administrator Judge Abhar Gul Khan conducted the hearing in the jail. Due to security concerns, the case was heard in the jail.

The prosecution presented police constable Sajid, civilians Hasan Ahmed, Mohammad Yar, Umbreen Bibi and twelve-year-old Umar Salar as witnesses.

Witnesses told the court what they saw before and after the blast. The court adjourned further hearing till November 1 and summoned other witnesses.

Among the accused are accused Samiul Haq, Aziz Akbar and Naveed Akhtar. CTD Inspector Khalid Abu Bakr has submitted a challan against the accused.

In the challan, the accused have been declared guilty in the Johar Town blast case. Five accused have already been sentenced to death in this case.
