CTD arrests terrorist involved in target killing, planning attack on Milad-ul-Nabi procession
Shiite News: ISIL terrorist involved in target killing of renowned Shiite and engaged in planning attack on Milad-ul-Nabi procession arrested.
DIG CTD Asif Ijaz Sheikh has said that the alleged terrorist killed in CTD encounter last day in Janjal Goth have been identified.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi, Asif Ijaz Sheikh said that the names of the dead terrorists were Amil Shah and Abdullah, 3 associates of the alleged terrorists who were also killed last year.
He said that the group of alleged terrorists have been involved in various serious incidents of Shiite target killing in Quetta.
The terrorists include the mastermind behind the Serena Hotel suicide blast. He said that the terrorists had been living in Karachi for two to four months and were related to a banned organization.
The accused had also thrown grenades at the police. He said that the terrorists were earlier associated with TTP but later joined Daesh, their target was 12 Rabi Awwal.
Apart from this, police sources said that the suspects arrested during the operation including Sultan, Rizwan, Naeem, Jabbar and Hamdan Salafi.
