Shiite scholars demanded release of mourners arrested on Abdullah Shah Ghazi
Shiite News: In a joint meeting, the leaders of the representative parties of Millat Jafaria have urged the government to release immediately the innocent Shiite youth and mourners who mourned at the shrine of Imamzada Abdullah Shah Ghazi, and the baseless cases filed by the administration should be eliminated.
The representative parties of Millat Jafaria including the President of Majlis Wahdat Muslimin Karachi Maulana Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Jafari, President of Shia Ulema Council Karachi Allama Kamran Haider Abidi, General Secretary of the Heyat e Aima Masjid and Ulema Imamia Maulana Razi Haider Zaidi, Vice President of Jafaria Alliance Allama Baqir Hussain Zaidi, General Secretary Syed Shabar Raza, Ghayur Abbas of Imamia Students Organization Karachi, President Markazi Tanzeem Azadari, SM Naqi, General Secretary Abbas Haider, Masjid Imam Bargah Federation Razi Haider Rizvi, MWM Leader Ahsan Abbas Rizvi and Nasir Hussaini. A joint meeting of other leaders including Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen was held at the office of Sindh province.
In the meeting, it was unanimously demanded the administration that all the innocent prisoners belonging to Jafaria nation who were arrested during the mourning at Imamzada Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s Holy Mazar should be immediately released and and the baseless cases should be eliminated.
The leaders said that Pakistan belongs to everyone and no one should have superiority over anyone. They said that under the basic human rights in the Constitution of Pakistan, the followers of every religion have the right to worship in their own way.
The leaders said that the Saints have always taught love and peace and that is why the shrines of the Saints are revered not only by Muslims but also by followers of other religions.
The leaders said that the recent incident at Imamzada Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s was unfortunate, miscreants are trying to spread anarchy and division in the country.
Millat Jafaria Pakistan has always struggled for unity among Muslims and our elders have made immense sacrifices for the mutual unity of Muslims.
However, any evil-minded group will not be allowed to sabotage the mutual unity among Muslims. On this occasion, scholars, representatives of mourning associations and leaders belonging to religious organizations resolved to continue the struggle for the protection of the nation with mutual cooperation and agreement.
