Ayatollah Khamenei allows half of the Khums to be spent on the flood victims of Pakistan

Shiite News: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Hussaini Khamenei has given permission to his followers to spend half of the Khums share of Imam (A.S.) to help the flood victims of Pakistan.

As a result of the appeal, the Office of the Supreme Leader has given permission to use half of the amount of Saham-e-Mubarak-e-Imam (peace be upon him) to help the flood-affected people.

The following is the translation of the response to the petition made by the Representative Wali Faqih, Ayatollah Syed Abul Fazl Baha’u’d-Dini.

We are grateful to all the believers who have shown sympathy and help to the affected believers due to the unfortunate tragedy that occurred due to floods in the past few days, due to which the hearts of the believers were saddened.

The followers of Hazrat Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Supreme Islamic Revolution, in Pakistan are allowed to use half of the amount of Saham Mubarak Imam (A.S.) to meet the needs of these affected people.

Earlier, Hazrat Ayatollah Ali Hussaini Sistani also allowed his followers to spend two-thirds of the sums of Saham Imam (A.S) for the rehabilitation and relief of the flood victims of Pakistan.
