ISO starts relief campaign for rehabilitation of flood affecters
Under the auspices of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, relief camps for the rehabilitation of flood-affected people across the country started, while the main camp has been established in Lahore with the central secretariat of ISO.
Central President Zahid Mehdi attended the camp and reviewed the work, he said that Imamia scouts have started flood relief work, in this campaign, medical camps and supply of medicines, food items and clothes will be provided.
Teams of hundreds of Imamia scouts have been formed in the flood relief campaign, who are working in affected areas.
Ghayyur Naqvi, (the person responsible for the flood relief campaign), while talking to the media about the relief operations to be started for the flood victims said that under the auspices of Imamia Scouts and Al-Mustafa Trust, flood relief camps have been established at important places in the country, including Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan and Lahore.
While two days ago, the fundraising campaign for flood victims has been started in Lahore. He said that the team of scouts on signals are collecting aid for their Pakistani brothers, in which philanthropists are actively participating.
He said that the scouts should continue to perform their duties in the flood-affected areas, while teams consisting of more scouts have been dispatched to support them.
He said that the flood victims will not be left alone in this hour of difficulty, because it is our national and Shariah duty.
He made an appeal to all the Pakistani brothers and said that knowing their national and Shariah duty, they should give full assistance to their disaster-stricken brothers. Dry food, tents, medicines, and basic necessities of life are in dire need.
