Attack on Shia Masjid Near Shaikh Rashid’s House

Shiite News: A firing attack took place on Shia Masjid in Rawalpindi near residence of Federal Interior Minister, Sheikh Rasheed while Namaz-e-Maghribain was being offered inside, fortunately no lose is reported while hooligans escaped after firing by riding on motorbikes.

According to sources a large number of people were present in Masjid to attend congregation of Maghribain. The Administration of Masjid and Imambargah alleged Suadi Funded banned terrorist organization Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi behind said incidence.

Eye witnesses of this incidence said that armed men made straight fire on the gate of Masjid which caused to create chaos in the area. Residents near the masjid and members of Shia Community demanded to government to arrest terrorists who are involved in firing attack on Masjid and Imambargah Qasr-e-Abbas.
