Allama Hashmi Moosavi meets families of Allama Hashim Moosavi meets families of Shia missing persons (that means victims of enforced disappearance) at main sit-in protest camp in Karachi.

Friday prayers leader of Quetta Allama Syed Hashim Moosavi said that they would organize protest at key highways in Balochistan, including Quetta city.

He expressed solidarity with the families of victims of enforced disappearance.

Furthermore, he condemned unconstitutional, unlawful and undeclared incarceration of innocent Shia notables and youth.

Meanwhile, Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons announced to hold Ramazan-ul-Mubarak related events at the sit-in camp.

Those include: Iftari, Sehri, recitations from Quran, lectures on Quran, etc.

Meanwhile, the committee refers to the Constitutional and legal position and background regarding the victims of enforced disappearance.

The main committee’s leader Allama Ahmed Iqbal has said that the families have already fighting a legal battle through courts of law to seek end to unconstitutional and illegal enforced disappearance.

Moreover, he said that they were assured that their demands would be met on April 16, 2021.

But he made clear that the families and the committee call for release of the victims of enforced disappearance prior to Ramazan.

He further said that if any harm is done to protesters, then the government would be held responsible for everything.

He said that the families and the committee had ran from pillar to post to seek justice.

The committee leader said that they contacted the top authorities of state and government of Pakistan.

But the authorities have failed in bringing an end to this unconstitutional and unlawful undeclared incarceration.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal further said that supporters of the families of the victims of enforced disappearance would begin sit-in protest in United States, European countries, Canada and other countries.

If the authorities concerned fail, the committee leaders said, third phase would include aforesaid international protest.
