Token sit in protest against enforced disappearance of innocent Shias held in Multan under the aegis of Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons.

Earlier, protesters took out a rally from Imam Bargah Abul Fazl Abbas to Chowk Kumharan Wala.

There they held token sit-in to express solidarity with the main sit-in protest of families of Shia Missing Persons.

Allama Iqtidar Naqvi led the protest. He said that they are making legitimate demand for enforcement of writ of the Constitution in Pakistan.

He further said that the Constitution has guaranteed rights and freedom to Shia Muslim citizens, while enforced disappearance violate those rights.

Meanwhile, families of Shia missing persons have been protesting at the sit-in camp outside mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah since Friday April 02.

On Friday, supporters of the committee held protest rallies and demonstrations from Karachi to Skardu.

They demanded immediate release of all patriot Shias who have been subjected to enforced disappearance anywhere in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, main sit-in protest against enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslim citizens of Pakistan entered 8th day om Friday.
