Allama Shaikh Hassan Salahuddin elected president of Haiyat Aimma Masajid and Ulema Imamia Pakistan.

The body represents Shia Islamic prayers leaders and clerics.

Veteran Shia Islamic cleric Allama Hassan Salahuddin announced new cabinet of Haiyat-e-Aimma-e-Masajid wa Ulema-e-Imamia Pakistan.

Meanwhile, oath taking ceremony held in Karachi on the sidelines of a seminar on Imam Mahdi – divine Saviour of humanity.

Ayatollah Shaikh Ghulam Abbas Raeesi, Allama Syed Ali Murtaza and new president of Haiyat addressed the seminar.

Agha Raeesi administered oath to Agha Salahuddin. The new cabinet of the Haiyat comprises of Shia Islamic clerics Shaikh Saleem, Mohammad Hussain Raeesi, Razi Haider, Maulana Kazim Abbas.

It also comprised of clerics: Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Asghar Shaheedi, Dr Aqeel Moosa, Javad Noori, Ahmed Ali Amini, Roshan Ali, Ali Mohammad Rehmani.

Meanwhile, the representative body demanded end to atrocities in Palestine, Kashmir, Yemen.

They also demanded end to enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslims.

Furthermore, Haiyat-e-Aimma-e-Masajid wa Ulema-e-Imamia Pakistan supported and defended Marjaiyyat.
