Despite a low-grade cop, he was working as Station House Officer (SHO) of New Dumbalo police in district Badin.
Policeman Khalid Jarwar has threatened Shia mourners (azadars) not to take out Ashura azadari mourning procession as per schedule.

But the policeman Khalid Jarwar threatened he would not allow Ashura procession on Sunday August 30.
