Lack of any breakthrough regarding victims of enforced disappearance (missing persons) irked the high court judge.

The judge remarked that joint interrogation team (JIT) head should feel ashamed that even petitioners don’t attend hearing due to distrust.

Moreover, he observed that investigation officers appear in the court with a print out, while people lack trust in the judiciary.

Because, they see no progress and no breakthrough in the missing persons case.

Therefore, he ordered the authorities concerned to stop monthly salary of the JIT head.
