Mufti Gulzar Naeemi meets Allama Baqir Zaidi in Karachi where two known Islamic scholars reiterate their pledge for intra-Muslim unity.

Allama Syed Baqir Abbas Zaidi is serving as Principal Jamia Imamia while he leads Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Sindh chapter as its secretary general.

Mufti Gulzar Naeemi leads Jamaat-e-Ahle-Haram and serves as Principal Jamia Naeemia Islamabad.

Both eminent clerics exchanged views on current situation during their meeting at Wahdat House.

Senior MWM leader Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi was also present.

Mufti Gulzar Naeemi and Allama Baqir Zaidi underlined the need for strengthening unity and brotherhood for the sake of peace and stability in Pakistan.

Allama Baqir said the country could be made cradle of peace by respecting religious ideology and creed of others.

Mufti Gulzar Naeemi agreed with Allama Baqir for strengthening unity of Muslims on common points. He said Sunni-Shia Islamic scholars unity would defeat those elements who want to sow seed od division and hatred.

Furthermore, he also spoke on Palestine and Kashmir issues. Mufti Naeemi termed it obligatory on all Muslims as per Islamic ideology to support oppressed Palestinians and Kashmiris and oppressed humanity across the world.

He rejected silence on the issue of Israeli occupation over Palestine.
