MPA Zahra Naqvi pays homage to Allama Iqbal on the birth anniversary of great national poet, ideologue thinker and philosopher.

In her November 09 message, she said person such as Allama Iqbal born once in centuries.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan women wing leader said that Allama Iqbal used poetry to awaken Muslims.

She said he emphasised upon Muslims to follow ideology and teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

She also highlighted political insight of Allama Iqbal that he suggested separate electorate system for Muslims of the subcontinent (during British Colonial rule).

Furthermore, Zehra Naqvi said that Allama Iqbal took active part in politics to attain inalienable rights of Muslims of the time in the subcontinent.

She cited Allama Iqbal had expected much from youth whom he deemed (bright) future of Muslim nation.

MWM women wing leader appealed to all Pakistani youth to return to ideology of Allama Iqbal for the sake of true identity of Pakistan.

She said Allama Iqbal’s poetry continue to remain source of inspiration and guidance for present generation.

She asked the government to ensure inclusion of more subjects; specially more poetry in the curriculum.
