Regarding ongoing tension and hate speeches in Pakistan, Shia Unity meeting condemned it as a conspiracy against Pakistan, Islam and Pakistani nation.
It urged all the concerned authorities and stakeholders to play their role to ensure undisturbed peace and harmony across Pakistan.
Shia unity meeting calls for rights of all religious schools of thought and vowed Shia Muslims would not compromise Shia Islamic creed and ideology (under any pretext).

The meeting vows to defend Shia Islamic ideology and Constitutionally guaranteed rights. It warned that any hurdle in this way would be deemed mischief and would not be tolerated.
Shia unity meeting said that Shia Muslims believe in guidelines and decrees of qualified Shia Islamic jurisprudents regarding respect of sanctities of other religions and sects. The meeting vowed to ensure this in letter and spirit.
However, the meeting said that imposing one sect’s ideology (and interpretation) upon a particular Islami school of thought is tantamount to ‘thoughts terrorism.’
The Shia Unity Meeting demanded withdrawal of all false and unconstitutional cases against Shia Muslims; because those cases violate constitutionally guaranteed inalienable rights of Shia Muslim citizens of Pakistan.
Meeting also demanded release of all Shia Muslims detained during Moharram 1422 azadari.
