Pakistan Peoples Party’s Co-Chairman and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari said that he had warned about the threat of notorious takfiri terrorist outfit DAESH (ISIL or ISIS) many years ago.

Addressing a press conference in London on Monday night, Mr. Zardari said that he and his party had been warning about the takfiri terrorists of all sorts from the beginning but the world turned a deaf ear to their alerts.

It is relevant to add here that banned ASWJ’s subsidiary Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has masterminded the suicide blasts in the homecoming rally of Benazir Bhutto in October 2007 but she escaped unhurt and more than 100 were martyred in the suicidal blasts. Ms Bhutto, spouse of Mr. Zardari was assassinated in Islamabad in December 2007.
