DIG South karachi submits initial inquiry report

DIG South Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon Thursday submitted initial inquiry report into Ashura Day mayhem in Karachi to the CCPO Karachi. Police sources said according to report 44 people were martyred and 119 other injured, while 550 shops, two buildings and two private bank with ATM machines set ablaze after bomb blast by unidentified suspects. Moreover, eight government and 30 private vehicles were also set ablaze by the  miscreants. Police sources said after this initial report a detailed final inquiry report would also be submitted to ascertain the causes, and actual magnitude of losses.
