Murderous attempt on ISO Punjab University Unit President

The ISO President was seriously injured in a murderous attempt on his life by IJT activists on way to hostel in Punjab University.
Activists of the IJT told Asad Abbas, Punjab University Unit In-charge 0f the Imamia Students Organisation that they have stronghold in the university and no other organization could hold any programme in the university.

It is relevant to mention here that ISO had organized Youm-e-Hussain (AS) and similar unfortunate reaction came from the IJT. Vice chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran, Allama S Ali Murtaza Zaidi and Jamaat–e-Islami’s Ahsanullah Waqas spoke at Youm-e-Hussain (AS). Now ISO has planned to hold Jashan-e-Eid Milad ul Nabi (birth anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad, the last apostle and the last Holy Prophet of Allah) (S.A.W. W.)
The attack evokes an instant reaction as the students from all over Lahore gathered at Muslim Town and lodged protest against the attack. ISO Lahore Division has decided to meet the Vice Chancellor of the University. They have started consultation for registration of case against the involved culprits.
