Notably, that endorsement came at a meeting with MWM delegation who called on him yesterday.
Although Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari led delegation raised Shia grievances, President Arif Alvi told them of PTI government’s performance.
Furthermore, President of Pakistan cited that Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted Islamic issues at the global forums. Particularly, he pointed to the Kashmir issue which PM Khan forcefully took up at UNGA summit.

Notably, the MWM delegation raised the issue of Zaireen (pilgrims), Gilgit-Baltistan rights and enforced disappearance of Shia notables.
Furthermore, MWM leader lauded PTI government’s efforts for highlighting Kashmir issue worldwide.
Moreover, the delegation drew attention of President Dr Arif Alvi to denial of rights to Gilgit-Baltistan.
They also cited Zaireen problems and demanded that government must form a policy to overcome all related problems.
Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi said that PTI governement paid attention to issues of Zaireen. He pointed that no other government in the past paid attention to sort out Zaireen problems.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has emerged as a leading Shia Islamic party on political landscape of Pakistan.
Its political activism had made it much popular amoing Shia Muslim community. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, voters directly elected the Shia party candidate as Memebr of Balochistan Assembly. And that credit goes to MWM.
