Allama Sajid Naqvi highlights importance of Eid Ghadeer

Shia Ulema Council head Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi underscored importance of Eid-e-Ghadeer.

Congratulating over Wilayat and Imamat Week, he cited four major aspects of Eid-e-Ghadeer.

He referred that Prophet of Islam and Humanity Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) gave a landmark sermon at Ghadeer-e-Khum.

Allama Sajid Naqvi cited the last apostle of God announced God Almighty’s verse on completion/perfection of His religious Islam. And, he said, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) also announced leadership and guardianship of Hazrat Ali as his successor.

Furthermore, he said that Eid-e-Ghadeer also reflected two other points: self-purification and purification of system.

Hence, SUC head urged that all followers of Maula Ali must purify their souls and deeds and defend pure Islam countering forces of distortion.
