Pakistanis to protest outside Indian diplomatic missions on Aug 15

The overseas Pakistanis to hold protests outside the Indian diplomatic missions across the world on August 15, Independence Day of India.

In this regard,  almost all eminent Pakistanis have appealed to such expatriates. Particularly, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari among them.

 

Notably, Pakistan government has decided to observe August 14, Pakistan’s Independence Day, as the day of solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

In line, Pakistan would observe black day on August 15 to protest against India for  stripping IOK of its special status in the constitution.

However, Pakistani nation has never recognised Indian claim over occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Zulfi Bukhari said since he lived abroad, he knew how much weightage given to protests in foreign countries.

Hence, he appealed to every overseas Pakistani to reach outside Indian high commission or deputy high commission on August 15 to protests.

Furthermore, he urged that they should also convince their friends to participate in the protests as it is a humanitarian issue,” he said.

Meanwhile, he vowed to participate in a protest outside the Indian High Commission in London.
