Unidentified gunmen kill repentant militant commander

A former militant commander lost his life due to unidentified gunmen firing in Akkakhel area of Bara tehsil late on Friday.
Most importantly, militant commander Noor Rehman had surrendered to security forces sometimes ago.
Officials said that he had also undergone special treatment in a de-radicalisation centre and released recently.

Moreover, police officials said that two gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on Noor Rehman.

The commander had remained affiliated with proscribed Deobandi takfiri terrorist group
Furthermore, the police said that the assailants managed to escape from the scene after the incident. Also, they left behind their motorcycle seized later.

However, nobody took responsibility for the killing of the former militant commander.
