Seventeen people, including five crew members and 12 civilians died due to crash of Pakistan Army aviation aircraft on a routine training flight near Mora Kalu Rawalpindi.
As many as 12 others injured in the plane crash, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release issued on Tuesday (today).
Most importantly Lt Col Saqib (pilot), Lt Col Waseem (pilot), Naib Subedar Afzal, Havaldar Ibne Ameen and Havaldar Rehmat embraced martyrdom.
Meanwhile, the ISPR said that rescue teams of the Pakistan Army and Rescue 1122 had reached the site and extinguished fire.
Moreover, they shifted all injured from the Holy Family Hospital (HFH) to the Combined Military Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Also, the military officials cordoned off the crash site. A cleanup operation at the site of the incident began in order to clear the rubble.
