Murderers of Shaheed Askari Raza namely Aurangzeb Farooqi, Aslam Chaudhry be arrested forthwith

Shia partiesâ€™ leaders, scholars and notables have warned the relevant authorities that all Shia Muslims would launch a countrywide protest movement if the killers involved in the targeted murder of martyr Askari Raza are not arrested without any delay.

They also reminded neither the Governor Sindh investigating commission was formed nor the nominated

murderer Aurangzeb Farooqi of banned Nasbi-Wahhabi terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi/Sipah-e-Sahaba and his patron SSP Aslam Chaudhry were arrested despite passage of a week.

Shia leaders condemned the Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad meeting with the head of outlawed terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba and termed the governor Sindh has violated the constitution of the country by holding the meeting with banned SSP leader Ahmed Ludhanvi.

They urged the President Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani and Sindh Government to take immediate notice of the meeting of Sindh Governor with the leaders of banned terrorists outfit, involved in the killing of Thousands of Shia and Beralvi muslims.

The warnings and demands were made at a joint press conference at Karachi Press Club on Monday where Ulema, zakirin and matami anjuman leaders spoke. Â

Those spoke included: Allama Furqan Haider Abedi of Jafaria Alliance, Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee, Maulana Munawar Naqvi of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Maulana Aaqeel Moosa of ISOâ€™s guardian body, Maulana Nazir Abbas Taqvi of Shia Ulema Council, Salman Mujtaba of Markazi Tanzeem-e-Aza and Laeeq uzzaman of Imamia Organisation. Â

It may be recalled that Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad had publicly announced meeting all 10 demands of a huge rally and sit-in outside Governor House that included arrest and investigating commission.

They referred to the fact that even Pakistan Army had taken action in the Tando Bahawal case against the involved personnel. Â They said similar precedents in police department remain a normal practice. Hence their demand for punishment to SSP Aslam Chaudhry is in accordance with normal practice of police.

They said they have all concrete evidence but they would produce the evidence at the commission that must comprise of DIG Sultan Khuwaja and DIG Abdul Majid Dasti. Â Â

Said leaders said that the Inspector General Sindh Police it was a shameful act that he withdrew security of Shia Ulema and leaders instead of taking due action against banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi/Sipah-e-Sahaba that are the off-shoots of banned Al-Qaeda and banned Taliban groups. They warned if any harm is done to Shia Ulema, leaders and notables, he and Government of Sindh would be held responsible for that and case would be lodged against them. Â

They cited that Nasbi-Wahhabi banned terrorist outfitâ€™s chief and his terrorists were openly meeting the government persons. They said these frequent meetings with Nasbi-Wahhabi banned terrorist outfits terrorists and their head is an incontrovertible fact that they are either directly involved or encourage the genocide of Shia Muslims at the hands of these terrorists.

They said that foolproof security arrangements are made on Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) otherwise in case of any untoward activity the government and administration would be held responsible. They referred that despite assurances from the government terrorist attacks were made. They recalled two Shia Scouts were martyred on 1st Muharram on Numaish Chowrangi, Nasbi terrorists firing upon Majlis-e-sham-e-gharibaan in Hassan Colony, terrorist attacks on Juloos-e-Aza from Jamia Farooqia and finally the martyrdom of Shaheed Askari Raza and said all these terrorist attacks have exposed the governmentâ€™s claims about foolproof security.
