Syrians and Iranians celebrate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (AS) at her shrine
Syrians and Iranian pilgrims celebrated the birth anniversary Hazrat Syedda Bibi Zainab (AS) at her holy shrine in Damascus on Thursday.
Shiite News Monitoring Desk reported here that eminent religious scholars from Iran and Syria including Shiites and Sunnis also attended the celebrations. Young scouts paraded and washed the floor. Tailors made Islamic banners. Grand Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmed Badreddine Hassoun was sitting along with Iranian Shia scholars at the haram-e-mathar.
Renowned maddah-e-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Haj Murtaza Taheri recited the qasidas in Persian and Arabic. The red flag inscribed with Ya Zainab (AS) was fluttering over the golden tomb. The pilgrims recited Ziarat of Bibi Zainab (AS) at the holy shrine. It was an unmatched mainfiestation of Sunni-Shiites unity against Yazidi takfiri nasbi fanatics and terrorists who had attacked the holy shrine many a times.
The birth anniversary is being celebrated across the world by Shia Muslims including Iraq, Pakistan and India. Shiites revere and adore the holy personality of Hazrat Bibi Zainab (AS) for her steadfastness against the tyranny and despotism of brutal Umayyad dynastic misrule over the Muslims.
