Shia-Sunni parties’ sit-in protest against the ban on Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH)’s processions

Shia and Sunni parties staged a joint sit-in to protest against the Faisalabad administration who have not permitted the processions to celebrate Eid Milad ul Nabi (AS), birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), Prophet of Islam.
Shiite News Correspondent reported that the supporters of Sunni Ittehad Council, Tehrik-e-Minhaj ul Quran, Sunni Tehrik and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen staged sit-in. Main road was blocked and traffic was jammed due to the protest.

The said parties’ leaders have condemned the Punjab Government for its biased and anti-Islam approach that hurt the feelings of the majority of Pakistanis. They said that they would bring out the Milad processions come what may.
