The Yemeni Ansarullah resistance movement destroyed three Saudi tanks in a retaliatory attack on Tuesday.

The forces along with the country’s army attacked several military positions of the Saudi-led coalition inside the Saudi Najran province.

Based on a report by the Yemeni al-Masirah news agency, several coalition forces were also killed during the attacks.

Pictures from the attack were released, showing the Ansarullah forces using ATGMs (anti-tank guided missile) to destroy the Saudi tanks.

The movement managed to capture multiple sites near the Najran city in the past two weeks which puts them within striking distance of Najran’s southern perimeter.

The Saudi military initiated a series of daily airstrikes since late March 2015 to reinstate its ally Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who resigned as president and took refuge in Riyadh, but is now seeking to grab power by force.

The United Nations puts the death toll from the military aggression at about 10,000.

Ansarullah fighters, allied with Yemeni army factions, and forces loyal to Yemen’s former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have united and are fighting back the Saudi invaders.
