Millions of Yemenis took to the streets of the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and many other cities in mass rallies commemorating the Day of Criterion—the anniversary of the Battle of Badr—and expressing solidarity with Iran and Lebanon.

The rallies were held under the banner: “With Iran and Lebanon, We Revive the Day of Criterion.”

Participants raised banners of jihad and chanted slogans supporting the mujahideen in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, affirming that the blood of martyrs across the countries of the Axis of Resistance is their blood as well.

They declared that the decision to remain steadfast and ready to wage the “Battle of the Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad” is the decision of the Yemeni people, who today stand at the forefront of confrontation.

A statement issued during the rallies affirmed the Yemeni people’s full readiness for military action at any moment, describing the current struggle as a battle of the entire nation against what it called the “Greater Israel” project seeking to impose Zionist hegemony.

“We are in a state of open war with the enemies, and the Yemeni people stand as one rank alongside the Iranian people, its Islamic system, its army, and its Revolutionary Guards,” the statement said.

The statement also praised the strikes carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah against Israeli targets and American bases, as well as what it described as the achievements of the Iraqi resistance.

It called on Arab and Islamic governments that have allowed American and Israeli forces to operate on their territories to “repent and immediately retreat from this sin.”

The statement further said that American bases in the region have become a “burden and disgrace” and demanded their expulsion from all Islamic lands.

It condemned Israeli-American strikes on civilian targets, describing them as “desperate attempts” to drag Arab countries into conflicts that serve only the Zionist project.

Finally, the statement urged Muslims everywhere to raise their level of awareness and take serious action to confront what it described as existential dangers, placing their trust in God and confidence in His inevitable victory.

It concluded by affirming that Yemenis will remain steadfast and patient and will not retreat from supporting the mujahideen in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, whatever the sacrifices.
