Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi sent a cable of condolences to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem on the assassination of senior jihadi commander Haitham Ali al-Tabtabai, who was killed along with his comrades in an Israeli terrorist strike yesterday on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Al-Houthi praised the commander’s role and that of his companions in confronting the Israeli enemy, saying:“The lives of those who struggle for the sake of God—filled with steadfastness, sincerity, and tireless effort in confronting the Zionist enemy—are what keep the nation alive and lead to victories. Their sacrifices are the seeds of the promised divine triumph, in which we firmly believe.”

He stressed that continued commitment to the path of resistance is capable of stopping the arrogance of the Israeli entity, whose aggressive airstrikes on Lebanon and blockade on Gaza persist, along with its ongoing violations of the ceasefire. He held the United States fully responsible for these condemned crimes and systematic acts of terrorism.

Al-Houthi added:“We affirm to the Lebanese resistance that the only way to halt Zionist brutality is through your steadfast path of struggle and resistance, and through upholding the principles you consistently declare in your public statements.”

The SPC member reiterated that the Republic of Yemen, in fulfillment of its religious, moral, and national duty, stands ready to support its brothers in Lebanon and Palestine—with full preparedness, vigilance, organized readiness, developed tactics, and greater determination than ever before from the people, the army, and the leadership, in obedience to God and in implementation of the directives of Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

He affirmed that the fate of the temporary Zionist entity is disappearance, regardless of how long it exists under illusions of power and arrogance.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi extended his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, the resistance, and the brotherly Lebanese people, asking God to grant mercy to the martyred commander al-Tabtabai and his comrades, to grant patience and solace to their families , loved ones, and to grant a speedy recovery to the wounded.
