The enemy’s rumors and misinformation campaigns led by the Saudi-Emirati coalition’s media and its tools have not weakened the resolve of Yemeni scholars, nor have they been deterred by the repeated lies and rumours. Rather, their position has remained firm and unwavering from 2015 until today.

Yemeni scholars have confronted the Zionist-American project with steadfastness and courage, fulfilling their religious and national duty towards the oppressed, foremost among them the people of Gaza and Palestine, they have championed justice in all fields and presented a model of steadfastness and resilience in the face of global tyranny and arrogance.

In a humanitarian and historic event, the capital, Sana’a, hosted the annual conference of Yemeni scholars on Wednesday under the theme “The Position of the Nation’s Scholars on the War of Extermination and Starvation in Gaza and the Greater Israel Plan.” The conference was organized by the Yemeni Scholars Association, with the participation of a group of scholars from various governorates, along with scholars from several Arab and Islamic countries, coinciding with the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.

The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) participated in covering the conference and surveyed the scholars’ opinions on their unwavering message regarding the issues of the nation, including the Palestinian cause, and their stance on silent and indolent scholars.

The Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Sheikh Taha Al-Hadhri, said that the scholars’ stance is an extension of the stance of Yemen—its leadership, government, people, army, and media—in support of the oppressed in Gaza and throughout Palestine.

He added, “The stance of the Yemeni scholars is an argument against the scholars of the nation, from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Al-Zaytouna, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and the Arab Maghreb.” He asked, “If the scholars do not speak the truth, who will speak for them?”

Al-Hadhri addressed a message to the scholars of the nation, urging them to take a sincere stance regarding what is happening in Gaza and not conceal their knowledge of the killing, destruction, and attempts to displace and starve our brothers and sisters in Gaza, he pointed out that the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, which has disturbed the enemies, is the dividing line between Islam and its enemies, the forces of hegemony and arrogance.

Meanwhile, the President of the Capital Municipality Court of Appeal, Judge Taha Uqba, condemned the silent, indolent, and reticent stance of scholars who have refused to speak the truth, these scholars claim to believe in Allah and His Messenger, yet they have not been moved by the shameful massacres being perpetrated against our brothers in Gaza.

He explained that the children, women, and elderly of Gaza are suffering from aggression, killing, destruction, siege, starvation, and hardship as a result of the Zionist enemy’s actions against them. He asked, “As we celebrate the birth anniversary of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, what will they say to him when they meet him on that day? They will not be able to utter a word other than shame and regret.”

He said, “We in Yemen thank Allah Almighty for our honorable stance in support of Gaza, and we ask Allah to remain steadfast in this stance, and that the Yemeni Scholars Conference issue a strong statement that will shake the hearts that remain silent.”

For his part, Dr. Mujib Marzah, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized that the current stance of scholars is not merely rhetorical for the common people, let alone the scholars of the nation.

He said, “The fundamental thing is for scholars to shift their stance from rhetoric to action, because the current phase is facing a decisive challenge in the struggle between truth and falsehood, good and evil, Islam and the forces of disbelief, the Jews, Zionists, and Crusaders.”

He denounced the crimes committed by global Zionism against the Ummah in general, considering the crimes of genocide in Gaza the first example through which they will be able to liquidate the central issue of the Ummah, “Palestine.”

He added, “The scholars of the Islamic Ummah, the mujahideen and steadfast, remain a strong fortress for the Ummah, and they are a proof against the silent scholars who fear speaking the truth in the face of tyrants, global arrogance, and the fierce onslaught.”

Dr. Marzah described the stance of Yemeni scholars as honorable, serving as a reminder to the silent scholars of the Ummah who have not yet taken action, he addressed a message to the complacent and submissive scholars to fear Allah in their own hearts, speak out the truth, and fear none but Allah.

For his part, Sheikh Yahya al-Najjar, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, emphasized the importance of the role of scholars in taking a sincere and serious stand with the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza, who are being slaughtered from vein to vein.

He urged scholars of the Arab and Islamic world to emulate the stance of the Yemeni scholars, who have mobilized and shouldered their responsibility towards their brothers in Gaza.

Sheikh al-Najjar addressed a message to the silent scholars, urging them to fear Allah Almighty in their own selves and in the knowledge they have acquired, not to conceal it, and not to prolong their silence, for the afterlife is better and more lasting for them, he emphasized that the role of scholars lies in mobilizing people, raising their awareness, and enlightening them about the conspiracies being hatched against the nation, and calling on them to activate the duty of jihad in the path of Allah to confront the enemies.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Muqbil al-Kadhi, a member of the Mobilization Committee, reiterated the scholars’ guiding and advisory stance in confronting the fierce attack being waged against the nation by its enemies.

He said, “If scholars’ knowledge is not accompanied by their jihad, then there is no knowledge, because there is no knowledge except through jihad in the path of God and calling to God. Knowledge and jihad are two sides of the same coin; they are inseparable.” He emphasized that the position of Yemeni scholars is a jihadist position, an extension of the position of the revolutionary leadership.

He added, “The scholars of the nation are responsible before God for concealing their knowledge. Whoever conceals knowledge, God will bridle them on the Day of Judgment with a bridle of fire. Either they fulfill God’s right to knowledge, or God will question them about that.”

Sheikh Al-Kadhi pointed out that the scholars who remain silent about the crimes in Gaza, what is happening in Palestine, what is happening in Lebanon, and the axis of resistance will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, revolving in the fire like a donkey revolving in a millstone, he emphasized the nation’s urgent need for solidarity and for unifying the Quranic, jihadist, and Muhammadan word in confronting the filthy global Zionism.

For his part, Abdullah Al-Muayyad, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, explained that the annual Yemeni Scholars Conference comes amidst the grave circumstances facing the nation in light of the crimes perpetrated by global Zionism against the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world, most notably its attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

He pointed out that the Yemeni Scholars Conference coincided with the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, this requires concerted efforts to unify the honorable Yemeni position in confronting the Zionist entity, its American partner, and the leaders of Arab and international disbelief and hypocrisy.

He said, “There are shameful injustices in Palestine and Gaza, including the killing of children, women, and the elderly with the most brutal bombs, as well as starvation and thirst, the nation is watching and doing nothing for our brothers in Gaza.” He highlighted the honorable Yemeni position, which was followed by action with missiles and drones.

Al-Muayyad called on the nation’s scholars to fulfill their role and assume responsibility for the crimes of genocide taking place in Gaza in particular and the nation in general, adding, “The issue is serious if all the nation’s scholars do not fulfill their duties to speak the truth, denounce evil, and enjoin what is right. Otherwise, there is no meaning to knowledge amidst injustices unprecedented in history.”

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Khazan, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, addressed a message to the nation’s scholars urging them to play their role in repelling the evil of the Zionist-American enemy against the oppressed peoples of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and elsewhere.

He said, “The nation’s scholars must fear Allah Almighty and speak out the truth before it’s too late, especially as the nation faces a fierce war by its enemies.” He called on Arab and Islamic regimes to break their silence and follow up their words with actions to stop the crimes and massacres in Palestine and elsewhere.

Member of the House of Representatives, Mansour Wasil, also praised Yemen’s firm and principled stance on the nation’s central issue, Palestine, and its support for the mujahideen in Gaza.

He said, “The Yemeni position must continue, because Allah Almighty says, ‘And they will not cease to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able.'” The official and popular stance toward Palestine must continue, as Allah Almighty has commanded us to stand with the weak and oppressed.

Wasil stressed the necessity of activating the duty of jihad, patience, and steadfastness until Muslims achieve victory, he called on the nation’s scholars to fulfill their religious, humanitarian, and moral duty toward their brothers in Palestine, who are being subjected to killing, torture, siege, and starvation by the Zionist enemy, with American support.

The position of Yemeni scholars, from the start of the aggression until today, has remained firm and unwavering, embodying their religious and national responsibility to defend the nation’s causes and confront the forces of arrogance, their annual conference sent a powerful message to the scholars of the Islamic world about the necessity of fulfilling their religious duty and speaking out the truth in support of Gaza, Palestine, and all the oppressed, the voice of Yemen remains a witness to steadfastness and pride, and a conclusive argument against the negligent until Allah grants victory.
