Yemeni Rockets Pound Saudi Bases in Najran

Yemeni troops launched a retaliatory attack against Saudi military bases in the monarchy’s province of Najran on Monday.
According to reports, Yemen’s artillery units fired several rockets into three Saudi military bases in the Southwestern province of Najran early on Monday, leaving scores of Saudi troops dead and injured.
The missile attack came in retaliation for Riyadh’s ongoing aggression against the residential areas of the Arab country.
Earlier, Saudi warplanes pounded a construction company in the Harad district in the Northwestern Hajjah province. Air raids were also carried on the Dar Sa’d and Khur Maksar towns in the Aden province.
Saudi jets also carried out raids in the northwestern province of Sa’ada, where three children were killed after a residential neighborhood and two schools were bombarded on Sunday.
Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen in the last 96 days to bring its ally, fugitive president Mansour Hadi, back to power.
The airstrikes have so far claimed the lives of more than 4,736 civilians, mostly women and children.
According to a recent report by Freedom House Foundation, most of the victims of the deadly Al Saud campaign are civilians, including a large number of women and children.
