Hundreds of thousands of Yemenis poured into the streets in capital, Sana’a, to condemn the crimes committed by Saudi Arabia and its allies during almost a month of war against the Arabian Peninsula country.

People staged massive rallies in Sana’a on Wednesday to voice their outrage over the continued crimes by the Saudi-led coalition in the Arab country, including airstrikes on Fag Attan area in Southern Sana’a.

According to Yemeni sources, Saudi warplanes used prohibited arms in their airstrikes on Fag Attan on Friday.

Chanting slogans like “Death to Al Saud”, “Death to the US” and “Allah is the Greatest”, the demonstrators called for an immediate end to the blockade of Yemen.

Earlier on Wednesday, the revolutionary committees in Yemen called on people to stage massive rallies in condemnation of the Saudi-led war.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to militarily interfere in Yemen’s internal affairs by launching deadly air strikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

While the Saudi-led coalition on Tuesday said its military operation “Decisive Storm” has ended, airstrikes on targets in Yemen resumed on Wednesday.

According to the spokesman of the Yemeni Army, the Saudi-led war on the Arabian Peninsula country has killed 2,051 people, most of them innocent civilians.
