250 Al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorists killed, injured in Yemen: General Yahya

The spokesman of the Yemeni army, backed by the Popular Committees (Houthis), General Yahya Sarie, unveiled the large-scale operation by in Baydha province.

In a statement in al-Masirah TV today, Sarie said the front in Walad Rabi area in Baydha province became out of Saudi Army’s control.

He added that 250 terrorists from al-Qaeda and ISIS (Daesh) were killed, wounded and captured in the recent operation.

“The Yemeni army destroyed more than 12 military bases belonging to the terrorists and was able to liberate more than a thousand square kilometers and control large quantities of weapons,” he added.

Referring to the Saudi coalition’s assistance and air support to the terrorists elements, Sarie added that details of this military operation in Baydha front would be revealed in coming days.
