Yemeni Air Defenses Intercept Hostile Warplanes in Al-Jawf

Yemeni Air Defenses, Thursday evening, were able to intercept a warplane run by the US-Saudi aggression over Al-Jawf governorate.

“Our Air Defenses managed to confront an aggression warplane in the sky of Al-Hzm district of Al-Jawf governorate, forcing it to leave without carrying out any attack,” Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier Yahya Sare’e, said.

Sare’e confirmed that the interception was carried out with the Fater-1 surface-to-air missile defense system.

The Yemeni Air Defenses, during the past days, confronted many of the combat formations of the enemy warplanes in the airspace of Marib and Al-Jawf governorates with the long-range Fater- surface-to-air missile defense , forcing them to leave the airspace without achieving their goals.
