Red Cross: Eight out of 10 Yemenis Live on Aid
The International Committee of the Red Cross announced today, Sunday, that eight out of every 10 Yemenis live on aid as a result of the country’s ongoing war for the fifth year.
“Eight out of 10 people live on aid,” the ICRC said in a tweet posted its Twitter account on Yemen.
“There are seven out of 10 people in Yemen who cannot access any health care, with 6 out of 10 Yemenis suffering from not having access to clean water,” the ICRC reported.
According to the Red Cross, two out of 10 Yemenis are in urgent need of shelter.
