Hezbollah: Zionist Escalation Places Regional Countries Face Historical Responsibilities

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) condemned the escalating barbaric aggression against Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and Lebanon on Thursday, stressing that the dangerous escalation places all countries and peoples of the region before historical responsibilities.

The Hezbollah said in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “It condemns the escalating barbaric American-Zionist aggression against Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and Lebanon, which constitutes an extension of the open war waged by the American-Zionist axis of evil against the peoples of the region, destabilizing the stability and security of their countries, violating their sovereignty, and depleting their capabilities and strengths, in order to subjugate them to the demands of its hegemony and the interests of the Zionist entity, so that it may gain the upper hand in the region.” He added, “In light of this dangerous escalation, Hezbollah confirms that targeting Syria through repeated raids and ongoing incursions into its territory falls within the framework of weakening the Syrian state and preventing it from recovering, and represents a blatant violation of its sovereignty.”

He continued, “The heroic resistance of the honorable people of Syria to the Zionist incursion, which resulted in martyrs and wounded, is evidence that the Syrian people’s choice was and remains one of confrontation and resistance to the occupier, and that the spirit of resistance is deeply rooted in the Syrian conscience.”

He explained, “The continued barbaric American aggression against Yemen and the perpetration of massacres against its people is a desperate attempt to dissuade the steadfast, proud Yemeni people from continuing to support Gaza and the resistance in Palestine, and to compel them to halt their heroic operations.”

The party continued, “As is the case in Syria and Yemen, the escalating brutal Zionist aggression against Palestine and Gaza, the ongoing war of extermination, and displacement projects, in full view of the incompetent international community, reveal the enemy’s inability to break the will of resistance and the spirit of steadfastness and defiance of the Palestinian people.” He continued, “In this context, too, come the persistent Zionist attacks on Lebanon and the ongoing American pressure, which cover up these crimes and through envoys carrying Israeli conditions to impose on us.” He added, “This dangerous escalation places all the countries and peoples of the region before historical responsibilities that require them to unite in confronting these dangerous plans that threaten everyone.” He added, “The equation today is clear: either confront or surrender to the enemy’s plans, which aim only to subjugate the region, bring it to its knees, and dominate its peoples and capabilities.” The statement concluded: “We, in Hezbollah, condemn these crimes and affirm our full solidarity with Syria, dear Yemen, proud Palestine, and their peoples. We call on all free people in the world to raise their voices in the face of this unjust aggression and to pressure the international community to put an end to these repeated attacks, in light of blatant American complicity that threatens regional peace and stability and opens the door to further escalation and aggressive wars in the region, amidst a disturbing international silence.”
