300 French persons trying to join IS

Le Figaro newspaper reported the French Interior Minister that nearly 1422 persons of civilians and residents in France are in a direct or indirect relation with the extreme organizations in Syria, 413 French fighters are battling in Syria were included, 100 women were among them.

The Ministry added that “300 French persons are now trying to arrive into Syria to participate with the extreme groups like the Islamic State IS organization, however, 260 fighters have returned home.”

There are nearly 80 dead French fighters killed in the battles in Syria, according to the statistics of the Ministry.

It’s note worthy to mention that the French government have warned from the increased number of Europeans heading to battle in Syria.
