“Islam is not terrorism.”

Italian Foreign Minister criticized DAESh militants for their rejection of other Islamic denominations saying there should be no reference to Islam when one talks about DAESh because Islam is not terrorism. 
Federica Mogherini, Italian Foreign Minister and the EU’s next foreign policy chief referred to the conclusions of the recent two-day conference of NATO held in Wales and said,” The plan to confront DAESH should not be solved through conflict among denominations and civilizations.”
She stressed the need for prevention of conflict among religions and civilizations in Iraq and Syria and noted,” DAESH terrorist group has no respect for religious groups; therefore, when talking about DAESH or any organization which has no respect for different denominations then there should be no reference to Islam.”

She stressed the NATO should not launch any move to confront DAESH terrorist group and added,” The priority in confrontation with DAESH is to launch a coalition within the framework of the UN with participation of the Arab and Muslim countries and also through humanitarian means so that the financial supports of the DAESH is stopped and that the terrorist group has no access to any kind of financial support.”

Italian Foreign Minister had previously warned agaisnt DAESH terrorist group noting that no country will be safeguarded against DAESH and that the group has no relation with the holy religion of Islam.
