Dozens of Holy Quran found in street drains in Saudi city

Police authorities of Wahabi-Salafi Kindgom of Saudia Arab, in collaboration with the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Taif have uncovered over fifty copies of the Holy Quran discarded in the streets’ sewerage drainage system in Al-Salama district of Taif.

The service of a company that specializes in opening grated drainage inlets was availed, and dozens of copies of the Holy Scripture were retrieved from the drain water.

Akhbaar24 reported that several copies of the scared book were found from within different storm water inlets in the area. While authorities are conducting further search and recovery, Taif police has launched an investigation into the incident.

It is relevant to add here that pro-Saudi fanatics of Deobandi outlawed outfits have always wrongly blamed Christians and fellow Muslims for desecration of Quran in their bids to spark off anti-Christian and intra-Islam violence. But, they are still tightlipped on the desecration of Holy Quran in Saudi Arabia.
